Berlin 26.06.2025 – The INDUSTRY.forward SUMMIT, which took place in Berlin from June 24 to 26, brought together leading figures from across the German industrial landscape to discuss the challenges and opportunities of the future.
The event provided a safe space to discuss issues such as digital transformation and the state of the IT infrastructure in industrial companies, which paint a mixed picture: While pioneers are using AI applications, others have a considerable amount of catching up to do when it comes to digitizing processes, lack suitable specialists or shy away from necessary investments. The participants addressed key topics ranging from competitiveness on the global market, change management strategies, digitalization and AI-driven innovations to environmental issues and the importance of promoting trust and adaptability.
A key message from Quirin Görz that ran throughout the event was the crucial importance of data as the foundation for any successful digital transformation initiative.
Daniel Goldeband, CEO of i-flow, also emphasized that companies must prioritize the availability and quality of data over the lure of AI. “AI sounds sexy, but without a clean database it remains just a promise. Data availability and quality are THE foundation for any successful digital transformation.”
At this event, we were able to discuss future opportunities and exchange ideas with several industry leaders on topics such as IT infrastructures and the use of AI to support the automation of processes, optimize production workflows and reduce downtime.
