i-flow at the Smart Manufacturing Days

Landshut, 15.05.2025 – At this year’s Smart Manufacturing Day in Landshut, i-flow was part of a top-class industry event focusing on digitalization and manufacturing of the future. The focus was on practical approaches to the intelligent use of production data and the implementation of modern data architectures such as the Industrial Unified Namespace (UNS).

A particular highlight was the detailed tour of the BMW Group plant in Landshut. The participants were given exclusive insights into highly automated production processes – an impressive setting to illustrate the relevance of networked data systems for industrial value creation.

In one of the presentations, Tobias Lante and Bastian Sacher from Transition Technologies PSC Germany presented the advantages of the Industrial Unified Namespace. The presentation met with a great response and confirmed the industry’s growing interest in open, real-time-capable data architectures.

“The Smart Manufacturing Day has shown that the need for consistent data availability and standardized integration solutions – especially with regard to the exciting developments presented in the field of AI – is constantly growing in the industry. The Industrial Unified Namespace is a crucial building block for this – and we are delighted to be helping to shape this path,” says Timo Vormweg from i-flow.

i-flow would like to thank Transition Technologies PSC Germany for the invitation as well as the BMW Group and Vogel Communications Group AG for the excellent organization and the intensive exchange on site.
